In an effort to improve our ministry to the congregation and to more accurately model the example of the deacon in the New Testament, the deacons have created mercy teams. Each team will be led by one of the deacons and will be staffed by members of the congregation. The mercy teams will be responsible for acts of mercy to the poor, the sick, widows and orphans and shut-ins.
Sickness Team:
Lead by Jim Eades. Responsible for acts of mercy with those with long term illness.
Shut-in's Team:
Lead by Jeff George. Responsible for acts of mercy to those who are confined to their residence.
Financial Needs Team:
Lead by Jon Duffy. Responsible for organizing love gifts, providing financial advise and administering church funds to those in need.
Widows/Widowers/Orphans' Team:
Lead by Bill Brabbin. Responsible for acts of mercy to widows, widowers, orphans.
Building Maintenance Team:
Lead by Leonard Taylor. Responsible for typical building maintenance and upkeep (this does not include large construction projects)
