In Memory

Pastor David Williams died Sunday, September 3, 2006, at his home in Talking Rock, Georgia. He was 78 years old.

Pastor Williams was Covenant's first pastor for those members of Riverlawn Presbyterian Church who left that church with him in 1975. He is perhaps best remembered for his love of children, and his initiation of the bus, puppet, and children's church ministries into the church. He also introduced the Success with Youth programs to our Wednesday night groups.

David and his wife, Barbara, served as missionaries for thirteen years in Jamaica with the Caribbean Mission Board which he co-founded.
