What We Believe. . .
We believe the Bible is God’s true, inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word.(2 Tim 3:16-17)
We believe God created us and is in control of all things. (Genesis 1; Rom. 8:28)
We believe Christ, the Son of God, was born of the Virgin Mary, that He lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and was raised from the dead and is the only means of salvation. (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1, 14; Hebrews 2:14-18; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is the one who gives us new life in Christ. (John 3:6-8)
We believe that salvation is by grace alone and that it is man’s obligation to repent of sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We affirm the doctrines of grace: Man is a sinner totally dead in trespasses and sins, that God in love has unconditionally chosen to save those whom He has decreed to be recipients of his saving grace, that Christ has redeemed his people from their sins, that through regeneration God draws man to himself by giving him a new nature, and thus insures a true believer will persevere in faith to the end. (Ephesians 1:3-14; John 10:11-14, 18; Romans 8:28-39)
We believe in the personal, glorious second coming of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. (John 5:23-27; Acts 17:31; Heb 9:27; 1 Thess 4:13-18)
We believe that corporate worship is to be focused solely upon God, the Creator and Redeemer, and central to our worship is the faithful exposition and preaching of God’s Word.
